You totally read that right!! My family and I went to the launch of Legoland‘s new Ferrari Build and Race Attraction! This attraction is breathtaking, and there is a life-size Ferrari made from Legos! The doors open, and the lights flash. It was built with over 350,000 legos, is over 3000 pounds, and over 1900 hours to build. Did I mention that it looks SO REAL!!

Scanning and virtually racing the car you’ve built on their virtual track
And did I mention the life-size Ferrari ?!?

The day of fun didn’t stop there. We were greeted by an amazing show of flag persons dancing and welcoming us into the event. Not to mention all of the fun activities and welcoming presentations to get all of us racingly excited about what we were about to experience.
After making a pit stop on the Ferrari red carpet, we went to build our own cars out of legos. They have quite a few lego pits to build whatever design it is you’d like. You can race your creation on so many different race tracks, watch the video HERE to see them all.
After racing the cars on the mini-tracks, we headed over to another room where you find a virtual track. Simply “scan in” your car, and then an image is created on this virtual track. Press the button and your virtual creation is on it’s way to racing others that have been scanned on to the track.
