In its 5th year, the Celebrity Red CARpet Safety Event, highlighted an important milestone and cause with smashing success. The 5th Annual Celebrity Red CARpet Event, held at the Commissary at Sony Pictures Studios, was presented by Step2 and benefited Celebrate the Military Child. Celebrities, VIP guests, moms in the Los Angeles Area and their families came together to learn about child passenger safety, safety for the family, mingle, meet new brands, chat with the Soldiers, and of course enjoy the smorgasbord of activities for the kids.
This event was filled to the brim with fun, excitement, education, seminars, great brands, gift bags and giveaways. Everywhere you turned there were toys from Step2 that are fall exclusives to Toys R Us,

UPPAbaby Mesa car seats and Vista strollers,
and Nuna PIPA car seats, RAVA convertible car seats, and AACE Booster car seats.
Of course the safety event wouldn’t be complete without the baby-safe ingredients from Babyganics,
changing accessories from Ju-Ju-Be,
home-safety products from Munchkin,
safe nursing/pumping from Lansinoh,
and the public car seat check car seats from Evenflo.
The event welcomed guests on a rainbow carpet with Step2 Whisper Ride Cruisers, the colorful step & repeat, and the Ecto-1 Ghostbusters car; which then opened up to an array of brands who all believe in the cause for child passenger safety, as well as other areas of safety for mom and baby.
Celebrities, VIPs, Local moms and their families learned that 4 out of 5 car seats are not installed correctly. They also learned about baby-safe ingredients found in soaps/lotions, the proper safety gates that can be used at the top of the stairs, certain surfaces of purses/bags that can repel harmful germs, closed-loop breast pumping systems that can minimize the exposure of air and bacteria to breast milk, safe play and much more.
Finally, the guests also had the opportunity to mingle with the soldiers from Celebrate The Military Child Charity. This charity gives back to the many military families that constantly need our love and support, as they are always looking after us by their service.
