Valentine’s Day is coming up and what a cute way to show some love with some ‘Waffle-y’ cute Gluten-free heart waffles!! These are super simple to make and you can top them off with just syrup, chocolate, sprinkles, or whatever else you’d like to.
How Do I Make It?
Here I used gluten-free pancake/waffle mix. You can use a non-gluten-free one. I also used the Bella heart-shaped mini-waffle iron. But any heart-shaped waffle iron should do on Amazon.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Pamela’s Baking Mix
- 2 TBSP Avocado Oil
- Avocado oil spray (for the waffle iron)
- 2/3 Cup Water
- 1 Egg
- Topping of your choice (melted chocolate, syrup, whipped cream, condensed milk)
Directions:
Prep:
Mix the ingredients for the pancake/waffle mix that you will use. Pictured here is the recipe for Pamela’s pancake mix, which requires mixing in the mix, water, egg and avocado oil.
Cook:
- Plug in the waffle iron until it heats up. The bella waffle iron light goes off when it’s ready.
- Spray the avocado oil on the bottom and top, and spread it around with a spreader. (I find that a silicon pastry brush works well to get into the grooves of the waffle iron)
- Take a heaping tablespoon of the pancake/waffle mix and put it on the waffle iron and evenly distribute it.
- Close the lid
- Wait a few minutes and they’re done.
