Replenish Your Skin with Tarte Maracuja Oil

Being a mom, your skin goes through many ups and downs during pregnancy, delivery, and even…well…just being a mom.  It didn’t matter how much water I was drinking (although I know it helped), I just couldn’t seem to find something that could help to hydrate my skin without feeling greasy (or worse yet, causing breakouts).

I came across this Maracuja Oil that Tarte Cosmetics had been promoting for a while, and was curious about it.  So I gave it a shot.  $46 bucks does seem like a big price to pay on a gamble of whether or not I’m gonna like the product, but I wanted to try anything. AND I had a 30% friends and family discount that I used, which helped with the price as well.

I used the product on my face day and night and after the first few days I began to feel that my skin was coming back to life.  I even had someone tell me that my face looked “moisturized”…LOL.  So it made me feel really great.

What’s so great about this oil, is that it isn’t greasy…I mean, when you first put it on it’s a little strange, but you get used to it.   When you put it on at nighttime, your skin sucks it all up!  If you decide to also use it in the morning, you put it on underneath your sunblock and/or makeup.  If you don’t put on any sunblock (shame-shame if you don’t!) or makeup, you only need a very little amount.

I do continue to use this morning and night everyday because I just love the way my skin feels using it.  Don’t get me wrong, I add other stuff on top of this too, BUT I feel like this really gives my skin that moisturized base it needs.

If you’re still having a hard time with the price, then I recommend you go to Sephora and ask for a sample of it. Take enough that will give you a few days of a sample (basically 6 pumps) and see what you think.

I was not compensated for this review.  I was not provided this product either. I purchased this on my own dime.
