Look Younger with Olay’s ProX Facial Cleansing Brush

I know what you’re thinkin….why not the Clarisonic!??!  Well,  I’m sure that one is perfectly amazing at scrubbing that pout…BUT…for some of us that are on a budget, the Olay cleansing brush works pretty well (not that I’ve had a comparison), but I’ve been pretty pleased with the results.

The best bang for your buck that I’ve seen for the Olay system is at Costco (but sadly I don’t think they carry it there anymore).  The system comes with the ProX brush, a replacement head, a full size Olay Exfoliating Renewal Cleanser, and even two batteries.  The entire set costs about 37 dollars.  Or you can check out Target or Walmart for just the brush (and maybe a small tube of cleanser) for about $22-$29 dollars.

Now, on to the brush!! For many of us, we’re looking for those exfoliating scrubs that will help scrub away the old skin and bring out that glowing younger radiance that exists somewhere beneath the surface!!  I don’t know about you, but some of them feel like sand on my skin (and I hate to keep scrubbing), others I use and think…where’s the scrubbers?  Then there are others that end up in my hairline that I find later on in the day (blue-colored scrubbers I may add) and I think, I wonder if someone thinks I have blue dandruff?

The Olay ProX has two speeds that you can use (and I alternate these, but mostly use the faster speed” and is waterproof so you can use it in the shower.  Basically, you run it under some lukewarm water… put some of your face wash/scrub on the brush and turn it on!! You want to make sure to get your nose, cheeks, chin, forehead and even the neck…yes ladies…don’t forget the one thing that reveals your age!!!  Scrub your skin for a few minutes (don’t overdue it though!) and then rinse the brush and your face.

You’ll find some of that excess skin when you rinse your face…kinda gross really, but super awesome its no longer on your face anymore.

I use mine every other day or every three days.  Depending on your oil/skin type you can use everyday or a few times a week.  Make sure to follow up with some good moisturizer!

I was not compensated for this review.  I purchased the product on my own dime.
