Ease Teething with Sophie the Giraffe

All you moms out there know what I’m talking about when I say I loathe teething. Teething for kids is so difficult because you can’t really do much about it. All you can do is be there for them and comfort them when they’re in pain. AND…give them a good teething tool to help them get through it.
One of the best teethers I’ve found on the market is Sophie The Giraffe. First introduced to me in the movie Three Men and a Baby…I always wondered what that little phenomenon of an item was.
Sophie is a teether made of natural rubber and colored with vegetable dye. If you want to see the amazing details of this lil cutie you can check out the process here:
This teether stimulates almost all of the senses of a baby. The sight through the spots, the touch by the texture of the natural rubber, taste by the taste of the rubber, and sound through the squeaker in the teether. What’s really great about Sophie are the different textures of the teether such as the ears, nose, legs and neck…AND…its size is great for little hands to maneuver around its dimensions.
Now, the best thing to do is to introduce Sophie in a HAPPY environment. Introducing the teether to your lil one when they are in a lot of pain may introduce a negative connotation of pain and Sophie. You want Sophie to be a source of comfort and enjoyment. So what I did was introduce my lil guy to Sophie when he was cooing on his tummy time mat (check it out below).
This is a definite must for all new moms.
I was not compensated for this review. I was provided this teether by Vullie and Fave Mom.
